Membership Eligibility

Must be a Physician Assistant or Physician Assistant Student. Other medical professionals may be considered on a case by case basis. Membership in The North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants (NCAPA) is not a requirement but is preferred. If you are a PA student you must provide proof of enrollment in an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program and anticipated graduation date. 

Membership Categories and Dues

FELLOW - $25/year

A PA who is a graduate of a PA program accredited by ARC-PA, or is NCCPA-certified, and is employed or licensed as a PA. This category can vote and hold elected leadership positions.

STUDENT - $5/one-time fee

Student membership is valid through the duration of enrollment in an ARC-PA accredited PA program. Student members are non-voting. Upon completion of their PA program, the student member will need to re-apply for fellow status at the beginning the following year after graduation.

Dues are renewed annually at the beginning of the new year. The member will have until January 31st of each year for renewal. Reminder of dues will be communicated with each member. If the member fails to renew membership by January 31st, their membership may be terminated.

Dues Allocation

Membership dues will go towards sponsoring Category 1 or Category 2 CME events and other events hosted by the Blue Ridge Mountain Association of PA’s Regional Chapter for it’s members.

Termination of Membership

Membership may be terminated by either party upon written notice, nonpayment of dues, or for flagrant violations of legal or moral standards.

Non-Discrimination Membership

Membership shall not be denied or abridged because of sex, color, creed, race, religion, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
